Challenge #001 - Your Vervatar

CHALLENGE #001 - Create your Avatar for this forum with Verve!
(I just recently realized we have avatars here, too, and that after weeks of looking at Pilou, hahaha!?)

Size of the final avatar has to be 90 x 90 and it can't be any larger than 6 Kb.
Feel free to post a bigger version (500x500) here, but you better use your avatar here, too!
(I happen to have made mine with Verve, too, by the way! But maybe I'll make a new one just for this occasion?!)

TIP: Use [Shift]+[F2] to toggle through Verve's resolutions until it's the smallest (500x500). Then have fun paintin' away!
(Even I take it to Photoshop then to scale it down to 90x90 and save it for web as jpeg [ctrl]+[shift]+[alt]+[s]...they're worse than me with Verve!)

Hmm... mine looks significantly worse at 50x50. I guess I tend to work at too small a scale by default.

I think that looks quite awesome! Very rich, very strong and the small version makes it feel like there's far more going on! I think it's GREAT!

Flattering and cool at the same time... YAY!

Sadly I'm away from my new addiction (Verve) until I get back to work on Monday where that PC has a decent card...
But my cat painting will have to do for my "Vervatar"... stare into his little eyes... I dare you.



Tip on sizing... go ahead and size it in PhotoShop to 90x90, but go to Mode/Image/Indexed Color... and choose "Local Adaptive."
Set the Colors to 64 or less. PS will guess the best mix... Save it as a .GIF
If still too big, try a lower color number.

That one's perfect, Mike! Not sure about the gif thing, because jpeg is just fine, too, but I can imagine that may avoid dirty jpeg artifacts?!
