This didn't go as smoothly as I would have liked. I could not get things to behave the way I have seen them behave. I noticed that when I changed colors, colors across the canvas where I wasn't painting would change to the new color. Could not get the brushes to flow smoothly and non-sparkly. Guess my digital paint is drying on the brush! Some colors apparently had an imaginary component (when I alt-clicked on them, the palette turned completely white!). I seem to have a talent for screwing up software the works fine for everybody else. My brother used to use me for debugging his software, because I managed to never take the "golden path." When he told me to "just play around with it" I could usually segfault it within thirty seconds. (for example, in Verve, do NOT hit CTRL-ALT-F2 twice. Trust me.)
