Sketch #000005 - "Chinese Dragon"

TOPIC of TODAY: "Chinese Dragon"

FORMAT: any
TIME LIMIT: none
MAXIMUM NUMBER OF ENTRIES PER ARTIST: 3
OTHER THAN THAT: Do what ever you feel is right and fits the topic perfectly, but do it with Verve!

ADDITIONAL THOUGHTS:
With the new experimental version the canvas texture invites some really neat, traditional looks for ink paintings and the likes. That doesn't mean you have to go all native, haha, but it's an interesting opportunity, I find.

Has anybody noticed, yet, how cool it is to draw with the canvas now? Sheeesh... I mean, it's just a rough first go at it, but it feels kinda nice! :)

Yes, and this dragon lives with Quasimodo ;)
Nice render.
Didn't test the canvas yet.
Your dragon, Taron, is so full of energy ! Great gestures in it, we feel the magic !
And Knacki, that's a piece of art coming from the Shangaï museum ! I love the running character :D Very inspiring.

Ahahah, yeah, Knacki, that's too cute! ...love the scenery! Dragon is a bit stiff, but the whole story and picture make up for it easily! :D
Wow, Pilou, that looks perfectly like drenched in water! I thin that's very successful, hahaha! ...the city is probably the most clever use of loaded content I've seen, yet! Didn't even think of that! Good job! :D
Dba...where's yours?!?
(that is to say: I CAN'T WAIT!!!)
And thanks! I was just having fun with drawing for a change...it's very fascinating! I'm sure I'll work on that part of Verve some more. :)

Hey, nice idea the dragon in the wind ! Clever choice to suggest the flying magic, Jim.

Well, I swear mine was supposed to be a chinese dragon but ... hum ... I guess my european culture is too strong. Let's call him a green chinese-celtic-dragon
