How did you make the lines emanating from the center and shooting outwards?

Just Brush #9 & pressure sensitivity on size activated.
Press & release and combine the with brush #1, size active & softly erase the centre
Tunnel is hand drawn but could have been done with fabulous rotating function for sure. Same for soft fade out in centre as described above.

Ahh, and for anti aliasing it's the same, but instead of STRG for erase press Shift

I am happy that you like it ;)

Excellent! I suppose it's brush #8 and rotating the canvas. :)

I've tried and tried, but it doesn't seem to work for me. What settings are you using with the brush? Is it possible that it doesn't work with a mouse?

Lasertunnel works with mouse too.

Let the canvas rotate (+ or -)
choose brush #8
click on canvas to draw
while LMB kept pressed, press DEL to delete beginning artefacts.
Wait until tunnel is closed.
Smudge, blend to get rid of overlapping.

For lines / rays I only see a chance with pressure sensitivity device in the moment.
Try to get a used Wacom tablet (something starting from Intuos3 series, or higher), if you are interested in drawing but not interested spending too much money at the beginning.
It's worth it and not too expensive.

Hi,guys, your paintings are very amazing so I want to do one too.
Taron, your colors and light are beautiful.
I don't know what the result will be before start. After playing brush[1] for a while,I got this blackhole feeling, and [ctrl+shift+M] raised the contrast. :D
I think this scenario can be explained as: A dark planet blocked a red giant star and a black hole was nearby the star.
Thanks.
Sorry for my poor english.

I'd say: Your picture speaks for itself, hehe! 8-)
I was quite sure this is not a glowing worm, eating an invisible orb of dark matter.

Very cool! :)

Nice red glow.

A death-spiral between a massive black hole and a super-dense star.

OK, thanks. It looks like I can't do the lines with a mouse.
