Mouse x Pen the fight for dominance!

Ok I just woke up and had a huge cup of coffee :D

I found my pen and was finally able to finish some works that required it. I had a lot of fun with this one :)

Re: Verving the Pipeline: Multi Program Workflow

I have been holding back a number of posts and almost pulled a B (hope you are safe B wherever you are). This was the result of a continuing search for the Professor's look and side tracked but I am happier with him. Next time I use him in a scene I will have him appearing like the professor and not some wayward mage ;)

Re: Verving the Pipeline: Multi Program Workflow

It's a fantastic look, Tartan! It has such illustrative character, just how one would expect to find in a fantasy book. :ob
Don't hold back, really! But I certainly appreciate deeply your care!

Nonetheless, this forum is about you, us, all us artists. Though the Off-Topic forum is a free-for-all feast of "whatever", I do give highest priority to your art, however it pops up in here! c:!
Precious stuff, T!

What a dramatic coincidence!
Your painting "Professor" is the copy cat of a famous French singer who died yesterday!

WOW! They do really look alike! :o
Quick, make it a tribute! Just slap some sunglasses on him! 8-)
My condolences to the singer, though, of course!

Re: Verving the Pipeline: Multi Program Workflow

Hey Pilou,

I had two responses here both inadequate but you have really caught me off guard. I can see where you might think that because there is a resemblance except for sunglasses and actual face lines. But I showed this off to Taron and my family a week ago. I didn't want to post it til today and I am wishing I had done it a week ago before you got the wrong impression. I forgive you for jumping to the wrong conclusion

Re: Verving the Pipeline: Multi Program Workflow

Tom, wow, please, don't be worried, please! Pilou just realized the resemblance and is as floored about it as we all are, haha. I almost was going to mention that I've seen this masterpiece of yours a week earlier already, but literally didn't think it was necessary to mention. So, no, you are not being accused of anything, don't worry one bit!
I remember how awkward I felt when not long after I made the Spock portrait, Leonard Nimoy died, sadly. But, yeah, this was not half as amazing in terms of coincidences than this here right now. Because of all days you've managed to post this with beyond perfect timing, pffff. I would rather find it fantastic and I'd imagine that Christophe may actually smile about it.

So, relax, worry not and let it amaze you just as it amazes me! Uncanny resemblance, really. :)

Re: Verving the Pipeline: Multi Program Workflow

@Tartan : absolutly no problem! Don't worry of that!
I have the pareïdolic syndrom to recognize anything inside an image! I see only resemblance not more! :)
Like this amazing one : French actor Gerard Depardieu here !
(you can see my comment if you scroll)
And the amazing of the story : this actor has really played this BD personnage on a human real movie, but the artist of this 3D modeling didn't know him! :o
He just drawn it from comics image! Totally amazing hasard like your drawing !

Re: Verving the Pipeline: Multi Program Workflow

Taron you are right. It does make me a bit uncomfortable but the resemblance is there. I hope Christophe is in a good place

Pilou that is a funny story. I love both Asterix and Depardieu. the artist did a wonderful job. I attended art class in the 70s with 2 brazilian exchange students. I hope they are well.
