i don't say it's a fake, but everything is done to make watchers have a doubt (e.g. omitting take-off and landing footage).

It's not a fake!

I find it peculiar that it looks almost exactly like those water jets that propel you up via water pressure sent over by a pump from a little dingy in the water. It looks and behaves virtually identical and it would've been a fairly conceivable job to remove the hose in the footage. That's what makes it feel so fake alongside a few other things, especially in the world record footage there, which is almost worse. It could very well be true, though...
...but, yeah, no matter what, it does look pretty deadly, too, hahaha.

Thankfully I don't really care...
