Re: Inspirations

We talked about technical inspiration, on another topic, and the use of looking oil painting traditional video tutorials.
Alexandra Manukyan is not one of my favorite artists, but she makes real good job and she shares the very interesting and classical process here :

Re: Inspirations

Recently found him:
Goro Fujita

Brilliant Concept Artist in my point of view.

Such a sensitive way to compose and light a scene, even in a very rough concept.

Re: Inspirations

Ahahaha, Goro is (was) a friend of mine from Germany. He got me into the daily sketches some 10 years ago. I love his style and the ease with which he approaches everything. And I miss him quite a bit. Wonder what he's up to these days. :D

Man, I really wished he would try Verve. :|

Re: Inspirations

Yeah, I did right away! He has this brilliant understanding of atmosphere, lighting and color. Very admirable, but he had it right away, really. It's funny, how his style really stayed with him, but one can sense a maturing on top. Neat. AND very inspiring! :)
