Re: Bug Reports

Errr...eh...the problem is, there is no real brush 9, so to say, it's just an intermediate state. You can always turn the canvas texture off, by the way, or crank the build-up parameter up. You'll get your ink lines that way, too!
I'm seriously in dire need to start my brush interface and continue with the engine.

Re: Bug Reports

Ahahaha...total accident, but if you erase with brush 9 it will also regard the canvas texture and look quite realistic, actually!
Eh...no, I totally planned for that! 8-)

Re: Bug Reports

Oh boy, he is right, [l] does not react either. :?

Just opened a project from last night and too got an unpaintable area on the side that wasn't there before.

Image

Also, the mouse input seems to randomly die?
Launch -> Load a project -> Draw a stroke with the mouse -> Draw a stroke with the pen -> Minimize/Maximize Verve -> Repeat steps three to five until the mouse doesn't draw anymore.

Real sorry dude, so much stuff ... maybe make the canvas version experimental again, for now?

Re: Bug Reports

Aww, it's even worse

i now saved that file with the latest build and then opened it with a pre-canvas version.
The bristles are all out of whack now ... looks really strange, bristles just pup up, randomly :? ... That's Brush #2 btw.
i send you the file to your e-mail ;)

Sometimes I get this crash, I think I get this crash if I use the distortion tool CTRL+W/W - my luck not every often

I have GEFORCE GTX 550ti and the WHQL Driver 314.22 (the last stable driver I think) and I use WIN 7 / 64bit.

ps. is verve once a day also for Linux an option? ;)

Re: Bug Reports

Sorry, i wasn't that clear ... The crazy Bristles show up when you load recent files (like the one i send you) in Verve versions before the Canvas ... i used "V0.99t.07".
It's a backwards compatibility issue, so to say.
In this gif i go though all brushes #1 to #9 and apply paint with the mouse in build "V0.99t.07" ( [n] random color was added in this version).

Yes, the unpaintable Canvas areas are gone now, though ... Thank you! :D

Light changes now affect the applied paint but ignores the Canvas, somehow :?

Re: Bug Reports

Ooohh, you mean changing the light color, yeah...darned, sorry. But moving the light source around should work perfectly!
It's always good to be a tiny bit more precise in feedback like that, you know. Otherwise I have to try all sorts of things that may not be what you mean and I end up being as puzzled as you do like to leave me frequently!
Also...please, alway stay with the latest version on feedback, if it's about troubles, because it only matters what works now and not what hasn't worked some other time, you know.
Unless there is something like:"Oh, in version t.02 this worked, but now in u.04 it doesn't anymore"
But, please, don't dig for stuff like that!

So, yeah, any problems with the latest version v0.99u.04?
