Numerical representation of light position

Positioning lights in verve can be quite useful for some very nice effects.
But it's tricky and on get easily lost as there is no reference, neither visual nor numerical.
And no reset.

I remember you laughing about this request a while a go, but if one plays with lights it can happen quite easy.
At least a reset would really help making better-quicker 3D effects in verve.

AH, pff, yes, the light placement...man, I so neglected all that, because I have been planning on making this beautiful lighting system. Darned... Hmmm.
I may have a look at it earlier just for you, Knacki! :ugeek: ;)

Ahh, never mind, take your time.
Isn't it always the same?
As soon as you start to develop verve further on, we are blocking you with tiny and bigger requests from doing the "C++ UI conversion monster thing"
I am happy to wait if I know it will come.

EDIT:
Found this from 2014

The whole ZappLink still scares me, why ever... ...but yeah. So you know MaCrea, too, huh?! :D ...that was really my first stand-alone app and I still think it's actually quite a lot of fun and pretty useful. Hmmm...one of these d... OHHHHH THAT REMINDS ME! I was literally thinking about hooking Macrea INTO Verve, because it could act as alternative lighting solution. We have already the bump, so it would be so easy to just hook that material render to it. :)

Maybe later... quite very likely later! ;)

Thanks for reminding me!
Oh, I just uploaded a new version that should make Pilou's friends a little happier. And I carefully think it is a bit of yet another revolution, because I don't think I've ever seen that in any painter ever. Not sure...but you be the judge! It's about SMUDGE CHROMA, hehehe, but more on that in the Info forum! 8-)

I'm sure its not a bug, but an old problem - how do you avoid EDGE-EROSIONS like in my example? This I get on borders between Alpha and 'Color' - very often, I hate it in this example a lot, because my whole boy and his 'Dreirad'(I dont know the english word - is erdoded, so I fix it now in Photoshop    - hope thta Taron can fix it - one a day :)

Wehehell, I think, I better make it possible to just stay in Verve, haha!
This is really part of the trouble with the fundamental nature of Verve and its paint solution. However, I'm almost serious about the above. I'll have to hook up some more features one would want such as color correction, selection and transformation features and the likes.

Have you tried merging the layers in verve?
It's really just an idea.

Hi, mostly I get that problem if I merge a layer with an alpha downwards, and if this bottom-layer did have also alpha/borders - you will get loss edges, but in my last case - I dont know why I did get that.
