What I am missing almost every time I paint in verve is a "simple" transform tool.
Just scaling would be very lovely. I miscalculate my painting so often and have to rescale.
I know, one can use the image brush as a workaround, which is not bad.

If time...that would be so monster lovely.

Oh yes, I know. Just the other day I thought about it again. While I was thinking about a meshing tool, too, but that's a different story. Anyway, yes, agreed! :ob

That would be lovely, taron! Only scaling. Not skew etc. most of it can be done with warp.
Nothing more, nothing fancy.
Maybe transform selection as well. I am afraid that would make things more complicated immediately.
But that would make art so much easier to do in verve!

Oh, that's what I meant above all: Lasso or Box selection to cut or copy then transform (move, scale, rotate) and later bending and such (lattice, mesh).

I see, that I have problems to see my Cursor/Brush-Tip if I have a white/bright color. My Suggestion - that we can define our brush-tipp color with a shortcut. 2-5 Colors are good enough

e.g. white, black (maybe also green, blue, red). or you create the Brush-Outline/Crosshair with two colors, white and a black very thin shadow/outline - like the windows cursor ;)

Sorry - I see the crosshair is black - if I Zoom out. But if I zoom in I get the described problems.

What do you think of a radial UI appearing from the middle bottom like in this video ?
That minimize the Pen / Mouse path! and favorise the choise colors / existing color on the canvas!

Oh yeah, in fact, my original plan for the pallet was similar to this. I'm still processing in my mind how best to customize the GUI and how far an artist can go in designing his own GUI. This could become a possibility for sure! c:!

Radial menus are not as quick, as they pretend to be. Try Autodesk Sketchbook i.e. Realkly bad done! Wasn't Artrage also kind of that style?
In a prog like Maya with hundreds of functions, well that would be ok.

But basicly is all there already, Pilou.
You have everything under you pen tip, well with shortcut.
c = the color wheel appears under you pen tip
SHIFT+C the swatches
F= Fluids
and on and on and on. Look into the manual ;)

In fact - even though I know most of them, I don't use them. I am too lazy.

<< I don't use them. I am too lazy.
It's more delight to take the time to choose your tools on a cuty UI! c:!
Else connect an UI inside our brain!

Oh dear, wasn't even thinking about the "radial" part, hahaha. Just the concept of having a pallet at any size, bringing it onto the canvas from where ever you wish. The radial stuff with most of it hidden is "hideous" in my book, hahaha. I willfully ignored it. Thanks for pointing it out, though, Knacki! No worries... BUT pallet is a certainty! I mean, there will be a mixing area, which also will allow you to pick up several colors at once onto your brush! I love that stuff and want it myself. :D
