I have to admit I fell to the floor xD

yes I took the time the read the hotkeys thoroughly and list the differences the first time
I tend to think [o] is more like open, cuz it can also import images.

my apologies again if it sounded picky,
is just that I thought that Ctrl S, Ctrl Shift S, Ctrl O, Ctrl E, were universal hotkeys for every software.
and I was very curious about the Ctrl n Shift modifier keys having to do something with the overall Verve hotkeys :ugeek:

Thanks for the underlayer trick, it worked fine! thanks again.

Hi Taron,
please could you tell me if there is any particular Nvidia Control Panel configuration that you know works better with Verve Painter?
are RAM or CPU somehow important to performance?

Thanks Advanced.

Your system's RAM and CPU don't do much to Verve and any system that can handle a proper graphics card is most certainly powerful enough.
I'm not sure about the NVidia Control Panel options, though. Worth investigating! :geek:

Thanks Taron
Taron, what does the "percption" dial do? what is it used for?

Thanks Advanced.

This is for desaturation, how brightness of colors (RGB) is interpreted/perceived. All these loose dials are reminders that this is just a lab version, experimental. I still have to do proper implementations and GUI sections and such. Just like the funny histogram that will become post processing levels and curves and HSL... it's all still to come.

I see, could you tell me if the "blending" dial is similar in that manner?
I just noticed that strokes (when in paint mode) are kinda softer when "blending" is up,
what does it do? does it work in smudge or average modes too?

Thanks Advanced.

It combined "average" with the stroke action. It helps to get softer blending between new and existing paint during the stroke. It also requires more processing, of course, which can make it slow on big brushes, but it's a handy thing sometimes. I ended up hardly using it, though.

Hi Taron
currently I'm using vrs files as a preset workaround, but I have realized that it doesn't record the "FLUID: CURLS" parameter? is this a bug, is it made on purpose? if it is so would you please craft a version that stores the "FLUID: CURLS" parameter in the vrs file? I'm almost sure vrs records all parameters except that, am I right? which others parameters it doesn't record?
PD: If "FLUID: CURLS" could get a "floating dial" like the "Build" parameter it would be very nice.

Thanks Advanced.

AH, yes, you're right. Though, I could imagine there are a few more of the later tests that it doesn't yet record, because much of it was and is in a flux! I never was going to release the current version in that state, but didn't want to let you guys wait for too long either. I think it was a Christmas present I wanted to give, hehe.
Anyway, yeah, I'll have a look! Thanks for noticing. But I'm always a bit worried about you. You're a tiny bit too concerned with things that shouldn't matter to you too much, yet. Have some fun, my friend! c:!

Try downloading again! I've uploaded a fix to regard curl as well. :ugeek:
