Hey everyone! Hope you all having a great weekend!

Quick question: is there a way to get texture, based on paint bump from previous layer, like dry brushing on top of impasto? Thanks!

Yes there is! Though, you'd sacrifice the canvas texture for that. [ctrl]+[p] will freeze your material build-up into the canvas texture!
I've got plans for future versions, where you can do a lot more than that, including also live build-up of background texture, probably closest to what you're talking about. I was also always thinking about using previous layers as texture for subsequent layers, but wanted this to be a layer mode and never made the gui for it. Funny reasons sometimes.
But, yes, all such things are meant to come eventually! c:!

Thanks for asking! :ob

Great, thanks. It is something what i was talking about, just need to get used to it.
I tested Verve two years ago and since then it's got lots of improvements. GJ! :ob

THanks, yeah! Alone the brush images really open new dimensions, but color swatches, hue-dancer and additional canvas texture modes all take it closer to the kind of adventure it should become, that's for sure. Still a lot of work ahead and some possible gear shifting as well. I haven't done nearly enough in recent times, because I'm wondering around various things including music and developing VST instruments. All of that, though, helps Verve development a great deal and motivates me greatly! :)

Well, I'm happy you're back and I've got some new things for you to explore. That's always fun! c:!
