Re: Upcoming version....

That is wicked?!?
I can't even imagine how it comes to number 2. ...how?!
I mean, what makes this card decide to draw the GUI at twice the width, or whatever is happening there?!? :o ...I don't understand. Stay away from ATI, honestly, because that is spooky shit. :uhuhuh:

Re: Upcoming version....

Sorry, I confused you little bit. My last contribution just meant that if I close the dialog then everything works correctly as before dialog and black color is away. So of course it is correct behaviour. :-)

Don´t worry about that. Layer FX works VERY well with something on canvas - and this is reason of the dialog. There is no need to fight with a little ATI bug I mentioned.

Auto button is very useful and works!

Re: Upcoming version....

Thanks, Lemi! This strangely stretched GUI spooks me, though. I wonder, if it's some GL trouble with Viewport or so... just doesn't quite make sense to me, you know. Puzzling, yet, interesting and very, very scary.
I could do a little check, though, to make sure it just doesn't do anything, if there's nothing on the canvas. This could help prevent unnecessary shockers. 8-)

Pilou...imagine I would actually offer icons! :ud:

Re: Upcoming version....

I've uploaded a small "fix", Lemi. You could try this and see what happens! :geek:

Re: Upcoming version....

Sounds realy great - your plans.

But btw. with fixing smothing - if I hold CTRL + SHIFT - I have in my blendings sometimes 'Dirt-Accidents', like from a dirty brush, mostly a dark (black) color - even if I have an other color - not often, not everytime - but sometimes I get this dirt.

Re: Upcoming version....

Zero, have you downloaded the latest? Because Layer FX are up already, you know. ;)
The "dirt" sounds weird, but I wouldn't be too surprised. I haven't had it, yet, but I know I'm doing a risky procedure there, which has potential to do some funky nonsense. It doesn't "smooth", it averages! That means, it grabs the paint under the brush, subtracts the pixels outside the brush radius, collapses it to one pixel with MIB mapping and then uses the resulting color as color to paint with. This is a bold approach, but fast and generally reliable.
I know, it's a tall order, but if you have some way to provoke the problem, let me know and I'll try as hard as I can.

Re: Upcoming version....

Ha, the black issue has gone! But there is still "stretch" issue. If I run ctrl+L, close dialog using cross button, ctrl + L - all works correctly. If I run ctrl + L, press ctrl + L again, dialog is closed ok, ctrl + L again - dialog is stretched!
