Indeed the lights are confusing on fur...
I changed my mind several times on dog fur as I started like the original vintage coppertone ad, with full black dog and then... missing lights happened.

I love the colors, really! It feels like a cartoon with a watercolor background and those two characters are animated. Sure, the values on both characters are a bit weird, but on the girl it's only the hair that seems extremely glowing, while the dog is maybe just a little dark. If the dog just got some careful highlights to match the body of the girl and her hair would come down a little, I think it would be perfect! LOVE the style! c:!

And I would love a video, for sure!!! Make sure you post the link here, too! :hyper:

What a cool picture. I really do like it.
All the lovely color comp in the water and the two character popping out to make the scene clear.
For me, it is a great job.

Thanks guys!
I meant Jean Giraud / Moebius with Gir reference indeed :geek:
Another after him then (and a record attempt of the sketch attempt https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q_n_xGshlwI).
Practice, practice...
