Face animation is fun for sure... And it seems animal face animation is a killer.
We'll see if I move to cat's portrait :hihi:
I must admit my original plan was to do such animation with Mbappe or Griezmann... I even started to record some "process".
Anyway Ciri's one is nearly there https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2CS_MQQcjXY

oh Ciri, you got her
did you use a particular canvas texture on your video? thanks for sharing.
I was thinking about that watercolor preset of yours, I had one but it doesn't open in the new version of Verve.
Congrats man

The canvas texture I used is basically home made, using the famous [Ctrl]+[Shift]+[p] to get texture from current layer material.
I think standard texture would do the same, my way of doing "digital watercolor" is more with high fluidity and low material/opacity.

Next time I'll try again with standard texture ;)

Hahaha - pigs everywhere!
That's a nice one.

Have you seen "The big bad fox"?
This is a wonderful hand animated (Flash & Photoshop) film.
The english dubbing is excellent, unfortunately my French is too bad to see the original.
You'll find a lovely pig character there as well :)

It has been a long time.
I am still using Verve on regular basis but not as much as I want, more like once per month :(

I am drawing more now... on... smartphone (with s pen)
Yes we all know that drawing on analog notebook would be better, but well this is better than nothing and I must admit I nearly always have my mobile close to me.

So for a change, I started with it (quick basic pencil drawing with basic note taking app) and then I exported it and tried to do a quick wash on it... because I can :hihi:

Maybe this is a new workflow for me, for summer vacation and some travel urban sketching...

AH, HOW nice to see you back here, Ovn! :hyper:
What a beautiful aquarelle feel again. I should exploit that more often, too. But, yeah, I hear you regarding doing "real" sketches. I used to carry a little booklet and pens around with me, but it's been years again.
I also am frequently making Verve doodles, but never something I finish enough to share it here. Anyway: VERY MOTIVATING! c:!

If somehow fate turns towards me, I will try to make an app, too. I know it would be great. Thing is, I don't even have my own smartphone, because I really don't want any mobile device with me, but I can see the appeal. My wife has two and I've tried a little android compile, just painting with vectors. It's pretty amazing, I find. But I don't yet know how to deal with GL on those things. Hmmm.... ah well. Gotta make a new version anyway and then do some sort of pledge drive to get funding. (on last 4 cigarettes...I'm an idiot).

Anyway, SUPER COOL! I hope, you'll get back at doing more Vervations again! ;) :D
