Yes it is! :o ...I suppose there were a few rat cycles between, but dang..wow... good calculation! 8-)
Yeah, that year spawned a certain breed of souls on earth, haha! :hihi:

I had a feeling you had been busy :) Impressive as always and it does come naturally to you as Taron said. The watercolors are the most impressive and my favorites. I can tell you thought the same way. Love Ranma c:! Chinese years got me thinking and I read the description for people born as Aries in the Year of the Rooster. Made me cringe a bit. Saying I was on fire may have been more true than you had supposed :D

I love all of your B&Ws also. Mouse Guard and Redwall have always reminded me of one another until I actually read Mouse Guard. Great story and a great tribute to it!

Pretty awesome man,
those watercolors are really very convincing, Candy n Ranma, impresive!!
you even did the spiral sketchbook
How did you do it? Did you just add the sketchbook texture with the spiral at the side??
congrats, awesome as always.

Just a blank page from a sketchbook of mine (captured via smartphone camera).
I kept spiral Indeed ;)
I simply put it in a layer with multiply mode.
It is a kind of cheat mode but with watercolor we want to see a lot of texture.

A quick and dirty without:

Hey Olivier,

I can't help myself for further comment. This is a great method. It has the right feel for the image and it looks good. :ob I am about to give it a try for a paint over

Uh, that's pretty! Not to mention that you really have found your signature and make it undeniable. The idea of painting flames and make them both look burning hot and still on white paper...that's pretty incredible. Very, very well done!
