Re: Ben Doodles

You're certainly in the zone! I love the blacksmith concept. Gorgeous atmosphere and believable scenery altogether. Would be interesting to see how you could work in more details and tighten it up! I'm sure that is tough!
I like the speedpaint, too, but it's quite ambitious with the colors and the light cone, which really needs a sharper definition and greater relationship between the gradient of the light cone to the gradient seen on the floor, you know. I do love the colors themselves of the background...gorgeous.

Re: Ben Doodles

@Taron Ah thanks! That seems to be my main problem as I actually start to move forward with some of my more ambitious attempts. I'm having really a really hard time consolidating a really consistent theme in terms of detailing. I don't know how you guys manage to get such depth and color variance while also maintaining a consistent texture or flow with the paint and brush. Photoshop's seems to be my only way of maintaining consistent stroke structure, i.e. I can't paint or draw straight lines in verve very well (evidenced by my lightpost). I pretty sure its not my tablet mapping, or input lag, its just me not being able to draw straight without PS's shift+draw. It is all something I'm trying to work on, thanks for the advice :D

@Borhani I'm not worthy \o/ 8-)
