Mud mixing

I've been meaning to give Verve a serious go since I first found out about it, but didn't really find the time until now. Verve is a real joy to use, though it could use some usability improvements. I'm excited to see what you do with the brushes next Taron.

I did run into a curious issue while painting though. Sometimes, the paint just turns into small blotches of pixels. Painting over them usually fixes it, but there was a particularly stubborn black blotch that I couldn't erase or paint over until I turned up the fluidity and flooded the patch.

My PC Specs, if it helps: GeForce GTX 670, i5 3570K, Windows 7 x64

Wahou, that's a serious go for sure. Well done!
About black pixel block I have the same issue.
When it occurs I turn off fluidity like you and it helps.
I blame my graphic card for that - but yours is better :?

WOW, Wooph, that's one heck of a debut there!!! :o :D
Man, I love the feeling of this one. It's spectacular, really.

YES, I even know what that problem was and it should be gone in the next version. It's been a tricky little bugger, but should be perfectly gone already (in my version). Currently I'm in the process of working in a totally new interface, which is easier said then done, but I'm on it. Verve had really been merely a prototype, but now I'm gutting it to turn it into a much more elegant piece of coding. Strange process, though.

Anyway, to please you and get you to do MUCH more work with Verve is a fantastic motivation! Ride on! ...Very exciting! :bounce:
Oh, and WELCOME TO THE FORUM, Wooph!

PS: It's not the graphics card! ...maybe one day I'll explain more about the curious magic inside Verve, haha. (magic = my stupidity)

Wooooow! Man, this is a beautiful piece from you. The colors are magically real and fantastic! I love how you managed to use Verve to create a master piece like that! Man, this program, while it is not perfect yet. has so much potential! I'm all hyped up to see more from you and I certainly hope you can keep on sharing more with us!

Cheers!

The illusion, the program could fill knowledge lecks in drawing.
Wrong! Could make it easier to look better, that's it.
Vice versa, that's a different story!
One of technical best verve paintings.

Thanks for the kind comments everyone. I thought I'd do one more painting as I will be away from my main machine for a little while. That smudge chroma option sure came in handy for that sky.
