Re: Mud mixing

If it is what I think it is, it has most to do with opacity controlled by pen pressure! And also really only with brush #9, whereby 7 and 8 could have had a similar problem. Anyway, it is gone. 8-)

Thank you very much for the breakdown.
That's a big help.

Re: Mud mixing

I've found the time to do another one.
Is there any idea as to when the next version of Verve will be ready? I can't wait to try it out.

Ahhh, THAT was worth the wait! :bounce:
Even the moon is lit properly, haha, what a feast! c:!
I always love your piercing crispness, it's kind of spectacular, really! :ob

Oh, hmm, yeah, I don't know exactly what is keeping me, but I'll get to wrap it up eventually. I can't tell you when this will be, but I suspect it won't be ready for at least another month or two. I might release a little fix-up for the saving of huge images, though, because I promised it to Stavros! I intend to keep that promise, but I'm also expecting a 10 day visitor the day after tomorrow, which will make that a bit tricky. It will come, though!
I'm just thrilled you can do masterpieces like that already with the existing version, that's awesome!!! :bounce:

Re: Mud mixing

This is pretty much an oil painting.

Re: Mud mixing

Thanks for the kind comments everyone. I wasn't very satisfied with my previous work, so I made another one.

I ran into an odd effect while painting, and I'm not sure what's happening here. It looks sort of like a compression artifact. I've cleaned up most of the jagged edges around the silhouettes of the mountains so it's not very noticeable, but it's still there in a lot of places.

Re: Mud mixing

Ohoho, I like this type of scenery. Brilliant rocks and planet. And the abandoned tree completes a total mood. Great! c:!
