hey there, i really like this software, after playing around with the fluidity and colors for about an hour, i tried to actually draw something and i was really pleased with the result

Welcome to the forum, Feliix! :)
Very cool... I like the believability of it... looks like a very mysterious crop of a beautiful landscape shot, depth of field and everything! 8-)
Looking forward to what else you come up with.. your game stuff looks quite cool, too! Good concepts!

I thought, well this looks somehow elfish. Some lights, a little bit more tree like. Then I pressed the link ;)

For lights. Maybe you haven't seen this:
http://www.taron.de/forum/viewtopic.php?f=7&t=35 opens the door to do every light - fire thing in verve with verve.
Just some branches and some lights and the magic of moment is perfect.

ho cool , well i really just downloaded verve yesterday. ill get my head around it al little bit more when i have a little more time.
thanks for that link, something that i love of verve is the color combinations that happen spontaneously that i wasn't able to make with photoshop, im already thinking to implement verve in my concepr art workflow before photoshop to make color palette :)

Uh, that's nice to hear! 8-)
That might actually just have gotten a lot nicer, because I've uploaded a new version with which you can save individual layers with their Alpha! ;)
[ctrl]+[s] will do that!

tried to make a more serious piece using Verve, the result was ok... i wish i cold have changed the saturation and contrast values of the bg, mid and foreground layer to get a better sense of dimension... ho well, im still learning :)

i also tried to use the fluidity settings to make more realistic smoke but it just wouldn't work at that scale, so i just used it for clouds. i'll be damn if u don't use the fluidity in every drawing i make with verve at least once :P

Beautiful, Felix, just beautiful! :D
Love the colors and the simplicity of the composition...mushroom against mushroom-cloud, haha! Elegant. And the rocks are very exciting, too. I really love your color and value choices! :)
(By the way, I keep editing your posts to add the images in there. Just right click on your image on deviantart and select "copy image location". Then paste the link between [img] tags!) ;)

thx.
actually the middle cloud looking thing where supposed to be rocks, but as i drew them too light they look like clouds
i tried adding some mushrooms trees over it to show dimension and solidity but didn't work :D
and thx for the tip, was wondering what i was doing wrong ;)
