Re: dba's not dead !

OMG    ...a COUPLE?!!! ...Ah, how did I not see that? :?
That's hilarious. I somehow thought she was wearing some sort of awkward dress and her legs were just a quick improvisation and in her hand was a kind of cocoon, not the head of a guy, haha! :PP ...but I did enjoy that more than the just-as-awkward back of the guy, haha. Hmmm... I guess you could've either pushed the visual separation of the two a little more or worked out the back a tiny bit more to be more readable by weird dudes like myself, haha! :?

Anyway... still dig it a lot! :bounce:

Re: dba's not dead !

To be honest I suspected something like that when you told about the spider and stuff. But my understanding of english is so bad, I could'nt be sure and, anyway, it's not important to me, when doing some impro-art. Anyone can see what he wants and I love to hear it ! The truth is, I know how artist's eyes are often unable to see something else than what is in their creative mind.
In contrast, the not to clear separation between the bodies was on purpose. My vision of the passion merging two souls, something like that. The back would definitely need some more details, I agree.

As you know, now, what I like the most in art is telling stories. Or, even better, settle a scene that would lead to several stories according to the viewers. Well, I'm thrilled !

Re: dba's not dead !

Your picture tells many stories for sure :ob
This couple reminds me Vallejo's paintings.
And I dig it too.

You have also made an impressive "Depthy"!

Re: dba's not dead !

As you should be (thrilled), it's very exciting stuff. Your style is always a pleasure to behold. Forgive me for being so...hmmm...not sure what one would call that...sloppy in my observation. But, really, her face is so beautiful and whimsical, I can see a whole fairly tale for her.
If you were to see my quick sketches, I'm sure it would be hard to tell what is what, too. ...I'm just not sure if they'd be as enjoyable as yours! c:!
