:] greetings from Australia

! very nice software Taron and thank you for sharing.
I have been lurking recently, and decided to give it a spin.

It has been especially fun (even unwinding) working with paint that is best that I can say 'organic' on a computer
Ill keep it up, and share what I get out of it in my free time :9

As you should be! I mean "proud" that is...though, primary places to play sounds good, too! :bounce:

I dig both of them! The shoes are a stunning picture in every way.
I'm a little worried to interpret the next picture, assuming it's a lyrical landscape on a late summer day as seen from a plane? Maybe even a village or city under the gorgeous cloud? c:!
Colors and value composition are a delight! Very well done on both! :ob

Thank you, Pilou, Taron, and Zeropainter ..
@ Pilou - Verve can do very well in subtly.. I think that why the shoes are nice c:

@Taron - hahaha well I am surprised that the image is hard to read, goes to show how another person seeing your work can help you..
It is a summery scene, just a landscape playing with earthy colours of a dirt mound, with the clouds cut behind it.
The horizon is low ^^ Thanks for taking time out of your day to visit my post It great to see youre still active (: I mean after 2 years..

@Zeropainter - cheers buddy

Of course I'm still active! Verve is my precious! :ugeek:
I'm just again on a musical break, having to recharge myself and also having to figure out some way to recharge my account without betraying my ideals. ...I'll figure something out. 8-)

Anyway, yeah, I was staring at your landscape for a bit longer, too, and realized that it could be a long slope of a hill behind which the massive clouds are hanging. I just dig the colors, though, the composition could possibly give some more hints! ;)
Still all really nice! c:!

hehe I think youre on the right track, just don't think too hard on it. Unless your ideals are unrealistic, but you don't seem to be the type to over-reach.
I have been making a solid effort bettering my palette, through colour studies of masters, random streets on google maps, experimenting.. anything and everything to git gud.

and here, this is a quick piece exercising the same approach as shoes.

oh and I seem to have an issue saving my work (sorry!!). A little window pops up when I save for .vrv.
This only happens when I load a .png, paint on canvas, and then save it over an older file. :?
