I was going to post a self portrait challenge, but never did it, I think...or did I?
Anyhow, I remember thinking it's best to wait until people got comfortable enough in Verve to approach it and then... I just forgot about it.
This may be a great inspiration for me to finally start that one up! 8-)

Cool, though, I might recognize you now, when you come down to Split! :D

OH, and it's GREAT! I'm sure it's a great likeness! c:! (CC is a little intense, though!)

OH, NO, Here it is... Exalted Self Portrait

Yes, that's good;-). At least something from this portrait! ;-)
btw. Yeah, I saw that challenge, but yet need to figure out exalted part.
Whenever I will do my next portrait I will have that challenge in mind! I promise! :ob

Ahahaha, I think, that was just Mike's way of giving some wriggle-room for those, who are too shy...but you can totally post any kind of self-portrait there. ;)

Ok, here's mine try of Mr. Freeman, which Knacki started! ;)
It's painted like it's posted here 1:1.
Done from photo reference (still photo from movie ''Shawshank Redemption''). I'm not that fan of the movie (he starred in many many better roles if you ask me), but photo is great!
Just brush, eraser and observing. No tricks, I was not going for exact proportions etc. but for him to be recognizable (hope so).
As you can see, I'm learning post-impressionistic's brush work lol. :D
