Hello everyone :)

This is my first (that I can remember) and very late post on this forum. I have been a Verve lover/user for at least a year. It's an amazing piece of freeware. I lose track of time whenever I open it up and start painting :D Massive amount of kudos Taron and many many thanks for creating this!

Here is a bunch of images I have made over the last half a year:

My all time favorite sci fi horror (painted on top of a screenshot):

Favorite horror (also painted on top of a screenshot):

Thank you again Taron!

Ohohoho, man! You've waited quite some time, but making one heck of a timeless splash for an entrance you've managed perfectly! :o
:bounce:
Yep, that would have to be my most favorite sci-fi horror of all time, too! In a way my favorite sci-fi period, but I'm not sure...
GORGEOUS!
I love that you've managed to preserve the realism of the light, while giving it all the glory of a beautiful painting! c:!
I dig them all and can't wait to see more from you, too! This is exactly for why I wanted Verve to be out there. 8-)

Thank you for making my day, for sure! :ob
And WELCOME TO THE FORUM:

(by the way...Lemi, :? what are the odds?! Giger...)

Thank you guys :)

The bird is a wooden earring that my fiancee lost in a changing room (probably) and she was upset about it. So now we have this printed in our home as a memory of the lost earring.

My main issue with painting is putting it off and lacking inspiration. But I love films so I have found painting them is a big drive for me to actually get something done in a fun way :D I have been watching the films while painting to get in the mood and I get completely absorbed by the atmosphere.

I will post more stuff when it's done :ob

It's always so curious to hear of a "lack of inspiration", but looking at a set of completely inspired and inspiring paintings! And the earring story is super sweet! :D

These a very good looking paintings with excellent light!
I think you are much more advanced that there is no need for painting on screenshots anymore.
If you want.
It's always a bit hard first, but makes you much more free.
