Hmmm...that's right. If you turn it 90 degrees clockwise, it looks like a waterfall in the background and a massive flash flood, tearing up a bridge.
All this style has this quality of allowing and inspiring pattern recognition. It's like guided cloud imagination. I absolutely love doing this, especially on granite or marble or certain higher contrast wood panels. But Pud has turned it into an art form like nobody else I'd know of.

I've rushed through this thread and I'm totally stunned.
What a richness of forms, points, lines, light and shadow. And nearly all only in black and white and grey.
You trick my mind because i can be lost in your pictures. It's often that I think I know what I see and then - lost -that's something other.
I can see so much in it. And they nearly all have a power in it.
The interesting behind is that you seem to be a shy guy.
Be what you be but you can be absolutely proud of your talent and the drive to create such pictures.
You took art with the help of Verve to a whole new level.
And that's - again - a big thanks to Taron and in this case also a big thank for your creativity. That's a perfect symbiosis...
My hope is that you try to start to work with colors.
And I discovered through this thread the shortcuts for controlling lights. That's insane how different a picture can be only by changing the light and ambient.
Please show us your further evolution.

I suspect what happened ... and I have to come up with a different way of working.
I have overloaded the file (four layers is too much for 3396x4076  )

Oh my....yes, that could very well be! Verve is currently still on 32bit, which has roughly a 2gb limit, but I think you rather went at the graphics memory limit. I am still exploring other options of dealing with layers. Whatever else I do, it will make certain actions slower. It remains to be seen, if this creates workflow problems or not. But a crash is always the worst workflow issue, of course... :hihi: ... :PP
So, yeah, I'm sorry you ran into this. :(
I hope, you didn't lose this gorgeous work of yours?!

everything is ok
to a certain stage ... I often wrote (my thought went short and packed .vrv file into one file)
I have drawn the rest from scratch :bounce: :hyper:

3396x4076?
Just one layer is black after reopening. I am pretty sure that it's mainly GPU memory.
You have 8GB, me, I have 6GB.
AMD's Vega are coming with up to 32GB.

Your picture looks fantastic btw. !

I am a bit horny about your shortcut program. What is it? Image

EDIT: Found it, wacom onscreen control ;)

I could've told you that, Knacki! :ugeek: ...but I honestly had to think about it for a second myself, when I saw it first! :hihi:
That smiley is super-cute, by the way! :hihi:
I'd use that one for 32Gb, though!

AAAA! Am I home and have something?
I'm sorry Taron
I had you too bad / thanks to it
merging layers down in verve works so that when you merge it takes pixels
that's why my files weighed so much because they contained all four works
AND! this is a meatball
I have taken it wrong, because it is something else:
on the left CTRL CLICK merging down
on the right SHIFT F9 merging down
(I do not see youtube player,https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4ZOxuUfWZt4
