It's been a long time,
I moved to the north region of Lima about 5 months ago due to a new job location,
I think that was the last of the changes that happened throughout these two years, everything has been calming down very recently
on the other hand, there are the things that are happening in my region, all the Venezuelan people that has left their country, and all the global geopolitics involved in that matter. I cannot help saying that we deserve much better.
I wanted to start posting again here long time ago, and though now days it seems kinda abstract, I thought about doing some sketches of seated people due to that pose uses almost a square canvas allowing a bit more details in lower dimensions.
Then today I saw a video about a Venezuelan family trip from "San Francisco de Yare" to "Lima", it gave me an idea about a Venezuelan girl waiting in a long queue on the trip to new home.
please any advice or correction is very very welcome as always,
no exact reference used, just some stock photos of people's profile,
all drawing done in Verve_painter v0.99v.18a with brush 9, though I used PS just at the end to scale up the head and the arms, cuz I did the body and legs too large,
I tried to use Verve's warp, and though it actually warped her head, it kinda distorted it too, and when trying to scale the legs down instead, it started to show huge wavy curls in the legs' lines (using the same config that warped the head properly) I really missed the PS cmds to select and scale, so I just did that part in PS. Though now I'm wondering the easiest way to return it to Verve in order to apply a little bit of watery color to it.
