Re: EB Verve Painter
then I'm some sort of alien, some sort of terrorist I guess
but digital ways are changing (I guess not due to concept art requiriments) but it's changing definitely
there are some new packages that are investing in cfds, guess we all know them.
and even mounsters like Adobe n Nvidia have coupled to bring this kind of fluid's sim up
I don't know what market they are specting to reach though, but digital painting is changing.
Taron I always have had a fear since I started verving, is that someday some big mounster buys Verve and then discontinue it savagely.
It has happened many times, I used to be a very fast 3d modeler using XSI (Softimage) I've had used 3dMax n Maya before but choosed XSI,
but then Autodesk (read it as Fdesk) bought it with shinning promises, and I new back then that my 3d days were over, they continue it for just few years then they just kill it.
XSI was a really beautiful n powerful software, and all the effort, all the research-programming men hours gone forever to oblivion. I call that a crime.
They meant to kill the competition from the start. Hope someday humans could evolve beyond that nonsense profitable crap, but everyday I doubt it more.
I don't know exactly what happened with Sculptris never had the opportunity to know it, but hope pixologic keep it available forever, and hope nothing similar happen to Verve ever.
