Re: super trashy gallery

thank you for your support folks! :bounce:

Taron, Verve is just amazing for this! I can't even believe how natural and complex you can make the result look. I won't say traditional-like, though certainly that too, but like.. through ease of controls you can really lose yourself in the process, and that is a remarkable thing you achieved

here's some more colors mixing and a sketch

Re: super trashy gallery

Cool! This is the kind of thing where it's awesome to make a layer below and start actually "rendering" it out. c:!
Neat. :)

Re: super trashy gallery

yeah I'm gonna fully render something one of these days, just waiting to get comfortable with Verve again and to get that concept I just _have_ to develop :ud:

Re: super trashy gallery

My suggestion for fully rendering something is to fill the layer first, rather then painting on an empty layer. Just pick a background color, even just the canvas color, if you wish, and then hit ctrl+shift+F or the little FILL button. This is, if you wish to work similar to acrylics or oil, though, it works either way. There are interesting things happening, if you don't do it, but favor more watery styles, but you really have to warm up to what's happening then (cough, cough). :? :D
