Re: Zeropainter - GFX

I think my workflow for the future will be like this:

1) quick-dirty-speed painting like with BALROG - big like verve defaults or even bit smaller => thumbnails 4, 6 or 12 thumbnails for one verve document. For colorfinding/composition/idea(brainstorming)

2) building perspective raster and maybe some 3D 'sketching' Drawing/Construction process

3) Final Illustration/Painting

And I wish you also nice Christmas to all  - the last image is 2.5D one part is 3D, one part is paintet. Textures from the wall and from the couch made with Verve too - stamps and simple cube mapping in 3D (UV Mapping better for more complex models in the future)-

Re: Zeropainter - GFX

Woooot! MERRY CHRISTMAS, ZERO! Both are wonderful illustrations! The bear hunter looks traumatic, but you've capture very well the moment. The 2.5d postcard is really nice, too! Nice touch with the fairy tales book! :ob
I'm sorry I didn't see those earlier...I'm a little under the weather, more or less having spent Christmas in bed, including today and likely a few more. You do very much deserve my apologies, because you did wonderful there! c:!

Re: Zeropainter - GFX

I love the expression of the girl in the xmas compo, it looks so tender n kind, though imho I think there is something in the shading (the girl's cast shadow in the sofa) that is shrinking the space.
I like the way you are managing the light n shadow in your last portrait, I just would take care about how dark is the color around the teeth, values are the key, I would like to do lots of practices on that matter myself.
finally I always admired the Verve way of doing sparks, I don't know how they do it, I saw a thread about fireworks long time ago,
but for now I will just wonder how far Verve could go.
congrats again man.
