Your last 2 images are really shining Zero. Definitely a great landscape and a superior image. Your experiment is also nice. I am loving the lights off of it. :ob

Zero, Candleton is really impressive. The suitable and impressive atmosphere contains some warmth and brightness to an apocalypse. I like the sunset. And yes, very elaborate!

Oh, it totally looks like it's about to land! I think, it's adorable! :D
But it's always good practice to study subjects a bit before painting them. However, I think, it's also fantastic to FIRST just go for it and learn about yourself as you then study the subject for a second attempt. That's super fun! :hyper:

I could not agree more. Research is important but untethered exploration/experimentation is a good way to get where you've never been before.

Sure, it might end in seemingly NOTHING gained, but the act of exploration itself is a skill which pays dividends as time matures. I encourage
people to first go think, try, evaluate, rinse & repeat. Try before ya go see what others have done; their successes & failures, because
what others have tried can limit you on what you think is possible. ymmv. Good luck!
