Re: Taron's little gallery

Thanks you guys! :D
I'm having such a blast right now, it's scary! I just played around with the Smudge Chroma and it truly is surreal. This is a dark blue "primed" canvas and a yellowish white to just draw some lighting on an egg-head, hehe...then I had some fun with the fluidity, of course, but yeah... the tones that come out as you smudge the "egg white" into the black-blue are so amazing. It almost looks as though I knew what I was doing, hahaha...ahh... Anyway... :D

Re: Taron's little gallery

Ahaha, yeah, why not! :D

Ok, this one's a bit cheesy, but I just played around with Smudge Chroma and metallic paint...sheeeesh...insane fun! Just a few swooshes and this comes out:

Re: Taron's little gallery

Fluidity at 100%
Smudge Chroma at 10% (default)
and have at it gently... using all sorts of colors, but then black and white to just do it's magic... my goodness, it's mesmerizing! :) :D .... 8-)

Re: Taron's little gallery

I have found something with 2 layers for make a plastic wraping! A little like on your up righ corner ;)
Something like Bump 100%, Metallic 100%...Smudge 100%, and 10% of opacity..layer mode "+" .i must refind the exact trick

Re: Taron's little gallery

Ah, you mean like this...
(Copy the layer, turn up glossiness a lot and diffuse a fair bit, turn the layer mode to "+"(additive) and opacity down until all fades except the highlights!)
I've copied it another time and brought diffuse up a lot more, which generates an extra shimmer.

Re: Taron's little gallery

That's even better... I really played around with the underlying image some more after I copied the layers for the highlights, bringing out the plastic wrapper effect even more! :D

Re: Taron's little gallery

Hmmm, later on MACROS might be cool to have. I'm thinking about a certain amount of scripting, too, script recording and all that.

Re: Taron's little gallery

Ah, here's a little test I did based on Knacki's canvas idea! It's quite nice and I think I'll figure out some way of making this finally part of Verve...when I get to it! :)
