I love it! so brooding and evil.

So I would really like to know how you got such nearly-perfect concentric circles... several brushes set at large sizes with subsequent deletions?

Yes!
Brush #1 BIAS to hard and then just a new layer, paint, smaller size, delete, smaller size paint, smaller size delete...tadah... very simple, but a reminder that I should make such things, too, a lot easier!
THANKS! :D

Haha - I know this monster page before - well not exactly but it seems popping out of your head in variations frequently. The one I know was done with sculptris.
Both are gorgeous.
Lovely stuff taron, and so much taron. ;)

Ah, well, guess I can't escape my own style... ...but I'm trying to grow, of course! :)
Speaking of "not my style", here's today's daily sketch... no reference used, which is why it ain't all that great, but it's been great fun for sure!

Thanks, asckii! Yeah, I had fun with Hydra there, haha. :D
On the Moon Child I really didn't spend enough time on the hair. I think I'll revisit that part again, because it's quite an opportunity to practice that some more. I definitely felt rusty and clumsy on this whole thing (even the moon, hehe), but I also felt things coming back to me, too. I just can't believe the chroma smudge, it's just stunning for the most part. At some parts it can get a little tricky, when you start blending too much. Maybe I'll have a go at optimizing that some more, but generally speaking: Sheeeesh, wow! :D

I've improved the hair a little bit. Not too much, but I think it deserved a little bit more attention:
