Thanks guys!

Not that I'm into Southwestern landscapes...

A decade ago I remember often picking up copies of magazines called Southwest Art and Art of the West - beautiful paintings with vibrant hues.
Ohhhh, I think Verve is giving traditional painting a run for its money! ;)

This is a view of my employer's building - (quick 30 min,) painted abstractly from memory.
An old tobacco warehouse with boarded-up windows.
My interest was sparked from the shadow left by leaves of tree that has grown inside of an inaccessible exterior area encapsulated by building structures.

Here is one of many ideas I have for a series involving rusted, old and discarded pieces of machinery "returning to the dust," as they say.

It will be interesting when I could eventualy take my more mechanical models from Moment of Inspiration 3D, and load basic 2D versions into Verve. This way, I can have a great tracing guide to go by. But for now the "by eye" method will have to be perfected.

This took just an hour - thanks to Verve! :)

That's a cool idea! I love how the rust and weathering comes across! Great job! The field flowers and vegetation comes across nicely, too! :)
But the coolest thing is the atmosphere, which I can totally read and the fact that it feels truly like a painting! Great job! :D

Thank you Taron!!! :D

I had the vision in my mind's eye - which looks not exactly like the final here - and I started off a little uneasy, not knowing if I could pull off what I wanted.
But Verve, with it's fluidy-blendiness :ugeek: let the image build upon itself as if it had a mind of its own. Kind of an organic workflow.

And brush #3 makes great weeds and grasses.
