Re: Pulse's explorations

Thank you Taron for giving of your time, skills, and Verve to get me inspired once again to work. I love Verve and continue to explore and use the tablet you suggested. A next door Microsoft guy offered me a used Video card, and it will be a few weeks until we install it, hoping it will work. it is a GTX 550ti EVGA GeForce.

Re: Pulse's explorations

I thought I posted, but I guess not. Taron, I must thank you for all the extensive assistance to get me up and running. Verve is awesome. I am so glad you recommended the Wacom medium pro tablet. A neighbor, who is a Microsoft guy, brought over a used video card he is not using since he upgraded. EVGA - GTX550ti GeForce. Maybe when we get to it in the next few weeks it will be installed. I dig the shift, alt, control key functions you added, they work well with tablet express keys. The dial is awesome also, especially to size brush.

When I am not playing with your addictive software, I will make a page on my website to post high res images too.

Re: Pulse's explorations

I am in the process of painting a realistic Cougar. At this point I like the look and feel for a drawing complete as I work along. I will add the hi res version to my links page. For now here is an interim step, I feel stands alone also.
Adding link to hi res today, http://www.tatguy.com/tattoopages/Mydig ... ations.htm

Re: Pulse's explorations

This is getting great! It feels so much like wet colors, that's kind of amazing! If you don't mind me giving a bit of critique: The eyes seem off, as though they were on a head that was rotated more to its left, while the snout looks more straight at the viewer, so to say. But it definitely shows a cool style. Almost looks like skin, the fur.

Re: Pulse's explorations

I just realized all my posts went to a second page, I am an idiot, sorry Forum. As far as Cougar it is just the start of the realistic final idea. I just like this step on the way as complete in itself for other reasons.... I am a mad man and I like it.

Re: Pulse's explorations

Oh, me, too, I really enjoy that stage very much myself. Sometimes pictures start to lose their power, the more complete they get, but then it depends on what becomes of it, of course. This one really promises good amounts of power! :D
