Hello everyone, I am posting another step. What I am doing is almost like making a clay model. I line and contour draw, fill in shades and shapes for angles, light, volume, then fur paint. Then do it over again. It is slow because I am experimenting, but it does have moments where I understand a way to get there as I become more familiar with the tools. There seems to be a meeting of the mind with my ideas, reference material, dials, and learning. Patience is a virtue here for me. I just am determined. So I am about 1/2 way there.

Yep, this cat oozes personality! It turned out beautiful! I really start to see past the painting and find myself guessing what it's thinking. ...
