Re: With verve into the light

Going oriental made me pretty modern today ;)
Inverse painting, erasing silhouette from fluids.
Good that I lost one yesterday as todays one is even much better. Couldn't decide which version and made the best decision:
A triptych called "Female Ink" - I love it!

That's very interesting looking! (I'm not going for the obvious comparison, but I already know, who just might! :ugeek: )
Great stuff! :ob

Your ink paint is lovely! c:! I love minimalist bird on the branch! Female ink is cool and yes it looks like a very modern art. Which version of silhouette is my best? Maybe the first one. :)

Re: With verve into the light

I like the one on the left the best. There are some elements that could be worked on and transformed into architecture (far left in image) I think your inverse painting could be part of the opening sequence of an older Bond film :)

Re: With verve into the light

James Bond ......pfffff.

But isn't it too nice looking...and this is hand made!
No green screen alpha thing ;)
Even though I love to to that in my videos too.
Filmed milk drops in water and a dancer = always nice looking.

Todays scribbles were still in asia somehow. The lady wanted to experiment with curls on 0. I told her that this would lead to some unpredictable results, but she said that this is exactly what she wants.
So whatever it looks like, she is dressed!!

And some other things I played around today.

One copy to see how close I could come to this sumi-e style with some image brushes

The fish is masterpiece Knacki, how you managed to fit very few/long brush strokes into the shape, along with perfectly controlled ink density ! c:! :ob

Re: With verve into the light

Thanks GBoGBo, the original painter was a master, me I just copied in verve, which is much easier.

Todays work. I combined ink paint with the philosophy of Adam S Doyle, which was not 100% successful but the result is nice ;)
Original is 3700x3600. I doubt that I will ever be able to open that project again.
I "cropped up to the limit" :D
