Hey Eduardo - my technique is quite simple and straight forward - like I already described for the symmetry paintings.
Start verve, leave everything default. Size by pressure off - Opacity by pressure on. I made the mistake to leave paint mode on > instead of =. as I didn't wanna play (and fight) with bumps one can leave that on =. In my case I just turned down layer bumps, what can lead to surprising effects later.
-Fill canvas
-Paint with brush #9 starting very big (quarter head size)- 50-70% bristles depending on your canvas size - and with very low contrast until basic shape is done.
-Refine with a little less big brush and a tiny bit of more contrast. Me I have to be very careful with this.
Use STTG+SHIFT for blending and SHIFT for smudge. No erase.
About canvas structure - that was my little "arguing" with taron. As soon, as you use smudge, the stroke will have a massive different look.
Same if you paint a lot on one place. This is on one hand very logical and more correct than PS texture use. But the look is inconsistent.
While I was writing all this bla bla ...here is the super easy solution, at least for B&W pictures.
Make a new layer above, big brush, opacity very low and carefully paint over places missing structure. Done in seconds.
Haha - to make obvious why one can't see the structure it is quite funny to play with opacity on 3 (if you painted with >, like me this time) . You quickly see, where I paint the most and applied most material. There couldn't be any canvas structure any more

I wonder....tilt is not supported by verve for i.e. tilting your pencil and drawing with pencil side, isn't it? It's for angle direction only.
Peek through seems to work on win10 even though I haven't tested.
http://www.ilovefreesoftware.com/27/fea ... ws-10.htmlBut yes, I checked Kuadro. Does the same.Place Image above sculptris window. T+LMB for transparency, l for lock and a for always on top - done.
LIke I explained here :

Different task, same solution.
Peek Through works just for any window. Can be helpful when Placing videos from one app over another incompatible video app.
