Started out as an original drawing, but had a lot of trouble so turned into more of a study. :D

Awesome! This sunken thing feels really big. I love the depth in this one! Good work with the volumetrics and the distortion!

That is fantastic, V! What troubles, though? Anything I could help with?

Always willing to help eh? Got any spare patience? LOL. ;)
I still have much to learn, sometimes I attempt things like this, from memory, and quickly realize its too ambitious for my brain. More practice/studying helps, so it was good attempt anyway. Here's the reference: http://gallery.usgs.gov/photos/08_03_2009_kpf6JVu22C_08_03_2009_2#.U63KFFc5GUk

Very soul-stirring Pollux! It has an ominous impending tropical storm feel to it.

V1, Yours looks like you're actually there! Nice color.

Aww WOW Pollux, i love your entry very much! Really an amazing atmosphere and tone
i haven't seen much done with brush #7, so far ... Quite a brave move, somehow ... Makes it even cooler that you nailed it like that  Congratulations!

How beautiful VirtueOne :o You captured the scene so very well yet, i'm most fount of all the little details you added like the schools of fish and bubbles. :P
i've always been disconcert by the deep ocean and this painting gives me a proper shiver so, you must have done a fantastic job  Wonderful!

i had several failed attempts  then figured to warm up to it i could have a go at a ->painting i enjoyed<- that i found on google while researching the topic.
think i'll try one more different art-style and then, have another shot at something original ;)
