http://www.rowlhouse.co.uk/PicaSim/index.html

If some of you are interrested in RC flying, I found this simulator which is quite convincing.
Probably complete off topic, it uses some good simulation for wind, turbulance etc. which makes it a invicible but feelable fluid simulation.
I am playing it on ios, which basic version is free.
Didn't test the complete free windows version so far, which is fully custumize able including self created planes.
I really do love to glide at the cliffs searching for right winds etc.
Very relaxing if you are once into stearing and controlling. But full action acrobat flying is also possible. For that the banana glider is pure fun.

Re: What's your favourite LowBudget, Freeware, OpenSource Pr

Hey my dear verve-friends, I did yesterday found a very very nice artist-software - Freeware*.
DESIGNDOLL, great for generating posing-references, even with a couple of models in the same scene ....

Link to the design-doll homepage: http://terawell.net/terawell/?lang=en

Easy in use, for me it works better like daz studio, the posing system in daz was for me too weird and yesterday I did have also some crazy problems for installing Content in DAZ - so I was watching for an alternative. Posing in DesignDoll is very intuitive & easy.

* Freeware have some lack of options, If you want have some more options its not freeware - and the non-freeware version is 58$ now ...

A must have Plugin for Photoshop CC* - if you work/paint with Photoshop too. I friend told me also, that a version for older photoshop versions will come soon too. So I need to wait, because I have old CS6 one ...

Re: What's your favourite LowBudget, Freeware, OpenSource Pr

AH CRAP, sorry, but it has been a long time desire of mine to hook up 3d-figures into Verve for posing and proportional reference. Shouldn't surprise me, that it exists, but well. In my idea, you could actually modify a creature, like adding limbs and such, as well as pick from a library of common proportions and then place and pose it on the canvas based on your chosen grid orientation and FOV and so forth. But this stuff is really the future somewhat far from now. It has been my desire, though, because I know how awesome that would be! :)
Here to help! :D
