Re: Brush Settings & Configurations

Great videos Pud, great art, and music too, we have to share playlists someday
I guess you post them here in order to remember the Verve configurations, as a diary as you said.
but I can't see the Verve settings though due to the big res screen and the middle res of the video, the settings panel looks blurred. :lol:
I tried your white gets the black trick, it works for a couples of brushtrokes to me, then it gets pure white again.
the effect resembles when you load your brush with two different colors and paint with that, I liked that very much in traditional media,
and FreshPaint software emules that in a very good manner, here I placed the links.

Hi Taron
how is it Verve development going?
sometime ago I said I was going to post a video about my findings on Microsoft FreshPaint
I remember sharing with you Taron some youtube link about its color pallette in some of these threads
but here I've personally test FreshPaint, and have highlighted all its major color features
though it lacks of proper fluids, I really consider its color pallete and 3Dbrush color mixing to be the state of the art.
hope this would cast some light on the matter, and somehow help with Verve development :idea:
:beer:

PD: FreshPaint comes from Proyect Gustav, which used show the 3Dbrush in the interface, you can see it on these videos.

Hi pudjakjuzto!

I've been trying to replicate the brush of your video (it's really good!) but my results are very different :(
Please, could you tell me how to do it correctly?

Thank you and keep up the good work!

PD: I've found Verve today and I love it! Thank you Taron!

Re: Brush Settings & Configurations

hi Neph
Such tricks can only be done on old versions of verv
(With bug negative glossiness)
For me the old ones are those before the new v0.99.v17

You will find earlier versions here -> https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/0B35e_NzDjSDBSndBSmNHcUJYTU0?usp=sharing

Thank you, I'll try with an old version. It's a pity it doesn't work with latest because the effect is great.

Re: Brush Settings & Configurations

I will make it an option, but it really, really is a "bug", haha. You'll never get proper edges that way and it's literally a false clip. I liked it, too, though. Just felt awkward to keep it the way it was. I'll work out something later on for sure!
Here to help! :D

Re: Brush Settings & Configurations

@Nep
* About the technique
The brush 0 has something very mysterious in it
This is alpha in png brush, which works differently
Hm ... on some settings instead of smudging behaves like an eraser
Or pulls the color from underneath

@Neph look at here https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B35e_NzDjSDBcks4SkxialQ2b2s
