Maybe you were hitting just the motion vector preview [v], which can look like a cleared canvas, but just hit [v] again and you're back to your canvas!
Did it look just gray?

Hey, dear Taron sorry, I really forgot about this function, so I was only very careless with my left hand / left shortcuts

Is there some way to store brush settings and switch them quickly?Theres so many variables to change in brush engine it would be handy to have presets collection that we could change, i can save settings and load them but presets collection would help a lot, we could even make topic odn forum and share some brush settings later.
I mean only brush physics without canvas colour etc

I should really finally make the brush slots...grrr....but I will have to make the GUI elements for it, too, and I wanted to revamp the whole thing first. Well, we shall see! It will come, but I always also recommend to become virtuous with the shortcuts, which can change the experience quite a bit. It's one of the reasons why I've never felt a great urgency to do the custom brush slots. BUT I more than understand how great that will be! :hyper: :)

Image *3013x4320 another safe size

The day has come, i finally managed to click in the right aspect ratio for vrv and it saves correctly!

two layers is something and I didn't observe these lines !!!
I am very happy because V0.99v.34/36 is still sitting on my desk :hihi:
so let's go c:!

Oh, I recently thought about this again...well, a few months ago, haha... and I remembered that I used smaller buffers for fluids and relied on GL to scale them up properly when applying the motion vectors to the paint. But I think that this scaling can be flawed or that the interpolation between certain vectors can create false vectors, certainly not "length preserving" interpolations. As a result it makes sense, if certain scaling can lead to bad lines forming. I will keep this in mind when I revisit all of this.
Funny little side-note: In Vervette it currently uses the same buffer size for all buffers. The result is likely a far more details fluid simulation. I believe, I should make this an option in Verve later, too.
