Re: Vervette Fluid Sandbox...

Hahaha! ...right, totally fundamental, just like a hover chair and glowing pen. But, yes, I'll make some GUI elements detachable, but it's still in a browser. This means you can't have several windows as far as I know. Also, if you go fullscreen with a browser, I don't know, if they nowadays go over two monitors, but back in the day this would only go full on one. However, I'm sure you can maximize a window over two or more screens.

Anyway, fundamental for a digital painter or any artist is that he can paint and have imagination. If you do somehow remember, I've been a professional digital artist for 3 decades and I've never had to use more than 1 monitor. Today I have (thanks to a dear friend) a 4k monitor, knowing that you can get up to 8k monitors these days, soon making multi monitor systems no longer relevant for anyone outside the NSA, or so, hahaha, so.... the most relevant thing a tool has to supply is the means to enjoy being creative! c:!

Copy and Paste, yes, why not. "drag and drop" wouldn't make sense in terms of actions, I think. Drag "what" and "how"?
The other thing I am thinking about, but know not, if it is possible, is to run two browsers and link them via the network. It would mean a delay, but it's conceivable.

Re: Vervette Fluid Sandbox...

Easy to say, difficult to implement. Don't forget that Vervette is the web project and it means two webbrowsers = two separate applications. Something like you want to run Verve twice.
For copy/paste it is possible to use cookies, serve sessions, context, server database but object dragging is a different world..

Re: Vervette Fluid Sandbox...

if it full screen across 1 or 2 screen it depends 100% on you driver settings. the best painting apps needs only 1 screen, it would not good for neck if have to turn all the time youe head to look from left to right. 2nd screen is good for display reference etc...

Re: Vervette Fluid Sandbox...

That's what I thought, TOO! :hihi: :ob :ob :ob
...in the late 80's I was once on a Computer Paint System... "Paintbox", I think, it was called, but I don't remember entirely, OH, and "Lumena", too, which were using two monitors, having the GUI on one and image on the other. it was HORRIBLE! :PP

Having two monitors is awesome for video editing, though! :ugeek:

Having two monitors is awesome for music or code editing too. But I use widescreen display and it is enough for me now.

Re: Vervette Fluid Sandbox...

Have you restarted / reloaded the website, when you're in that mode? (and what mode is that?)
