After properly updating my drives, my Asus Radeon HD 7750 works smoothly and without any lag.

Hihihihi, awesome, congrats! That's the best way to come by nice gear!
Most of my machines in my life were left-overs from projects, haha, or I offered a free weekend as compensation. I wished it was like that with the Cintiq companion, but... ...anyway, cool! Your 680 found its way to the perfect owner! :D (I'm so happy for us all that you have it!)
Here to help! :D

Re: Everyone, what Graphics Card are you using?

I have an GTX 550ti, 1GB VRAM and the older 314.22 driver from march 2013, for me the last stable driver.

Runs fine - I can work fluid up to 4 or 5 MegaPixel, its okay for printings to A3 by 150 dpi :D - wish I could get more MegaPix - but its okaaaay
but I have sometimes scan line effetcs - is this a bug? See my problem in the Bug-Forum.

ATI Radeon HD 4670

works well so far, though: After building up quite a lot of color and playing around with it one can kinda see the brush-circles and it' not a perfect stroke when painting fast. But as long as one goes at a reasonable speed (actual paining and not fast brushing over) it works just fine :)

Re:Best Card for HI RES

Can someone suggest the best affordable cards to do hi res work with Verve.
I am currently limited to about 2500 x 1500 on my Nvidia 650m limited to one layer.
Macbook pro, 8 mg ram, running windows 7 via bootcamp.
Verve runs well but I get an error message when trying to save anything bigger.
I would like to be able to work around 10000 x 5000 pixels for large printwork if thats even possible with Verve.

Im a mac guy and dont know pc machines or windows.
If someone can suggest a machine already built with kick ass graphics card or which one to look for
I would appreciate it.
Not sure what to look for or what the limiting factors are like Buffer size, ram etc.
Im in Canada

Thanks
Stavros

Re: Everyone, what Graphics Card are you using?

Helo dear Stavros, for big prints e.g. A3 - there are also 100-150dpi okay ;) - so I think that my NVidia GeForce GFX 550 Ti (1GB VRAM) is okay, it works fine until around 4.5 megapixel. If you really need more resolution you will maybe need one of the mentioned GPU cards in the first page of this thread. ;) Hope so much, that once a day also weak GPU's maybe better in Verve?! I don't have enough money for spending a newer card soon ;)
