That's a testament to Nvidia's awesomeness, hehe, they've always taken a lot of wild stuff, no questions asked! :D

Anyway, Verve depends on hardware, that is the hole point of it, really. That's why Photoshop and all those will run today as smooth or choppy as they did 10 years ago, while Verve runs on today's machines like butter, even with brushes as big as the whole resolution. I think that'll never happen to PS and all. ;)
Still, I'm sorry it's kind of exclusive in that way. :(

Ahhmm.. then I'll ask my parents to change it, if not restart my Windows XP into something new completely :D

It's alright! It's worth the scary realistic effect! Really, I'm still amazed to this very second :D I'll lurk around here once I got my PC changed into the better! :D (Although, after almost 9 years using the Windows XP interface... ahh.. I'll just have to adapt :D)

9 years? Like...wh...I ...but, I must be getting confused here with who's who now, hahaha. Somehow I have the whole 15 year old Danny in my head. If that was you, you would've been on XP since the age of 6? Well, yeah, I suppose that's plausible nowadays. When I was 6...let's not get started with that, but I had to get 14 before home computers really came around, hahahahaha... shiiiii...t.

Yeah, nontheless, I feel your worries. It took me years to get away from Windows NT into Windows XP then and just about 2 years ago I switched to windows 7. I'm pretty ok with it, though. No real complains, why ever. :)

I forgot to mention that my dad is a programmer... Typing and moving the small pointy icon was very exciting for me and soon I got hooked! Computers were (and still are) more interesting than my toys! My first experience with the internet is an online private server game my dad made! I was granted moderation back then and ohh, I messed up bad.. Sorry, dad..

... STORY TIME! :D

I continued playing offline computer games for kids and all that stuff until I joined an international forum at age 9 (10 that year) and I was active for 3 years or so... (my childishness though, *shivers* fortunately (or unfortunately) I grew out of that phase just 6 months before the forum shut down) and then I discovered deviantart and fanfiction.net! Oh my life changed ever since.

Ahh, still, I will miss the layout.. but! Those who adapt are survivors, so.. :D

Might as well drop in that I'm running on a HP Pavilion dv7-6c95dx with an integrated Intel HD Graphics 3000. Lots of errors, and very laggy, but that could be caused by all sorts of problems dealing with POL, a Linux compatibility layer.

Looks like anon7 and Etsija report no major errors on that card, just laggy. I'll start compiling debugging info and post my findings to the bugs thread ^_^ Unless you want me to start a new Linux thread, I could do that too.

Yes, that would be great, start a Linux thread! Fantastic idea!
I'd be pretty amazed, if I could do anything about what ever errors you might find, assuming that those relate to the emulator or what ever POL does?! But it's well worth taking a look at.
THANKS! :)

I have an Acer Aspire V3 with both an Intel and Nvidia graphics cards, Verve doesn't work with the Intel, it sort of shows up with parts of the UI missing (layers area specifically) and attempting to paint results in the whole window turing rainbow colors and sort of flashing. Actually it's sort of pretty.
The Intel card is for normal/low power stuff and I can switch from it to the Nvidia at will or by default. I don't seem to be able to come up with the specs for the Intel (yet).
The Nvidia works flawlessly, its an Nvidia GeForce GT 650M with 2GB of ram.
Verve is so fluid with the Nvidia it makes me drool.

I hope this is useful!

Cheers!
