Yeah quite old, but I run Photoshop CS6 and many (3D) games without any problem (and some parameters in high values
).So I never thought about not being able to run it!

Posted: Wed Apr 23, 2014 11:47 pmTry the latest version, by the way, it should be a bit faster! But, yeah, 3d games don't do what Verve does, you know. Photoshop certainly doesn't do what Verve does. And both have most likely much better programmers than I am, hahahaha ...but I'm working on it! If you find a fluid dynamics based painter out there that is faster, let me know!

One off my cores goes up to 100% when drawing with verve.
Even verve in idle already put cpu usage at 17%.

Posted: Thu Apr 24, 2014 7:05 pmShould depend on what your using for the drawing, but that it goes up to 100% is a bit curious, I think. However, I at least hooked up that "minimize" should put Verve to sleep. I still didn't do any elegant window hooking, which would make it easier for me to send it to sleep, if it was in the background. Eventually I'll have to do all that, which could also potentially give another speed increase.
