Re: Ovn1's 2 cents

Hey, lately I did a few tests with AI tools.

Like doing some quick and dirty sketches and ask AI (Vizcom) to respect at 100% my drawing and help with completion...
I must admit results could be interesting... even if it does not respect completely my drawing, it feels like using a cheat code :hihi: (confirming AI usage is cheating?).

Anyway I tried to correct 1 image within verve, make it more organic, had fun with texture, brush strokes, etc.
And yes the focus was supposed to be around the big manga eye and the heart earring as Valentine's day wink ;)

Re: Ovn1's 2 cents

I think the paint over came out beautifully but I am a little concerned about the deformations you were getting. Your original sketch should be almost be untouched and changes to the background should only be influenced by your imported picture for style and material.. Plus in the example I gave I didnt go into the options for style plus material in the artroom. You can import a different image for either. for different looks. Try this.. make sure the description is as you want but dont include words like 100% in the wording, Keep the drawing influence at 100% (change for variations later) and back the material and or style down to an experimental 50% and see how it affects your original. Play with the Percentages of everything. This means a lot of images in your workarea to the left popping up. save most things. You can go into photoshop and take the best elements out of those for a composite. End goal is 100% copyright.

Plus Pilous suggestion to try Refine. Be sure and read the documents closely. You may want to take a swing at 3d in Vizcom one day.

Beyond that once again. Your paint over rocks and Happy Valentines day to you and yours :)

Turned out GREAT, though! No worries, really. I believe if you use A.I. to discover potential improvements of your choices, it's a fantastic way to learn. Just watch out that it doesn't lead you away from your intention and your true style. You'll find that eventually A.I. can't keep up with your creative spark and elegance. While it puts things literally into perspective, haha, it will not understand what makes your style unique and special. But it can make excellent suggestions!
Here to help! :D

Re: Ovn1's 2 cents

These are very valid points from the 3 of you, thanks.
I knew indeed about the refine option but I forgot about it, as I wanted to quickly play with paint over :hyper:
And yes I saw a lot of cool options within Vizcom, for instance I can keep sketch idiosyncrasies with sketch layer opacity.

The silly part for me and all the AI stuff is that it tends to be very digital, very clean, etc. whereas I look for happy accidents and analog results without getting stained with real paint c:!
Yep somewhere I just want to draw digitally with mimics of oil paint, watercolor, charcoal, pencil, etc...
AI can get there as well as it could produce anything now, I should still learn from it, read documents, and find a way to integrate it in my own workflow style
