Jeee...gets me mildly envious, too... :P ...but I'm ok. :geek:
THANKS for reacting so swiftly with those paintings, by the way! Now I can shamelessly praise them as they ought to be praised!!!

Hey all, I have something different this time eheh.

3 days ago I started using world machine and vue renderer to grow my skills. Quickly I understood what heightmap meant, remmembered that Verve has an option to create some from paint and eheh guess what?

I splashed some paint in Verve...

first those wasn't made with WM, it's by using the program that I learnt what a heightmap is then realised I could use Verve to create it.

this said I don't really use WM easily, I get really better results with Verve, the only things I can do with WM I learnt them reading the software's manual avalaible on the official website
Having poor skills with it I don't really think making a vid tut would bring any interesting things to the light :/

I'd advice you to read the manual then go wathing a bunch on tuts on youtube, there's not a lot of them but it's a start. Then self experimentation will be your friend ^^

Ah ok! So a little video about the Verve landscaping because they are very convincing!

Yes the Nodes technology is somewhere stop the impulsivity of the creation! Intelectual more than impulsive :)

I can try to record the next time I'm doing this, I hope my gpu will accept it because verve + vue + recording soft, ouch
