EricNyeArt's colorful experiments

Taron,
I am loving this software you created! Thank you for the hard work and for letting us play with it. Here are my first few attempts. Each one I learn a little more and play with some of the features a bit. I'm an oil painter and always wanted to paint like this but the drying time and solvents have made that impossible...not with Verve.

Re: EricNyeArt's colorful experiments

Welcome to the Forum, Eric! I'm excited for you, really, as well as I am about you, being an oil painter! :D :bounce:
There's a lot to explore for you and the depth of the exploration goes beyond variety of features and all that, but into just how sensitive digital art can get with something as wacky as Verve, hehehe. I've just recently started refining the canvas texture interactions with the paint and you can get really creative with that and any fluidity setting. But it really gets amazing once you go carefully at it with your strokes, deliberately start painting and some truly magical things happen.

As I've been testing my routines with many wild paintings myself, I tend to forget to do more delicate tests. Just today I went a tiny bit slower and already the texture stuff blows my own mind, hahaha...it's really so exciting. I can feel that it asks us to learn a brand new technique, unique to Verve.

Anyway, welcome again and thanks for giving it a try. I really can't wait to see where you will take Verve with your experience and creative curiosity! c:!
Here to help! :D
