I am looking at this verve-paint and thinking to myself - what is missing there to my taste and what would I add there to make things perhaps little bit more complex

Couldn't find anything better than the idea of a perfect huge semi-transparent cube stuck in a sand with all four Ninja Turtles in it sitting and eating piccas

I think it's great! I can totally read the location and it has its own style. :ob

Ehehehe, I wonder, if picking up real paint will make you come back to Verve with even greater joy!
Really deep mood in this one. This kind of pin-point location for attention really screams for a traditional composition, though. That's a great reason for you to look into that, a nice opportunity! Sometimes a different crop can do the trick there, but it's great to have that in mind right away, too. I've been planning from the start to hook up various grid orientations to feature golden spiral and the likes. That comes in handy very often. :geek: :)

Thanks for your kind comment... ...in fact, painting for me is by digital way, ain't got the place/time/money for traditional tools... ...the different grid orientation would be a plus for me if we could snap the stroke on them.

Anyway, great fun with your tool man!
