Your work is awesome - thanks for posting! I have been looking at tablets for painting - which do you prefer, and what aspects of the tablet are most important for Verve work? I'm still on Mac except for Verve, but would love any negative or positive feedback.

Sorry, I still use "tablet" in an archaic sense.... I use a Wacom Cintiq attached to a Windows PC.

First of all: WELCOME BACK!
I'm so glad you're alright and thrilled you're even still in action.

Second: Huh? What do you mean, you have to "install" it again before running it? That sounds to me like some weird anti-virus thing on your system. Must be some way to white-list it somehow. The installer itself is merely a fancy delivery method with code-signing and all that, but Verve itself is code-signed, too. It doesn't enter anything in the registry nor does it do anything outside of the folder you put it in. That makes this really a weird one. Well, check for any strange anti-virus nonsense, that's the only thing I can imagine.

Above all else: Sheeesh, it's really nice to see you again and your beautiful style. So graceful. c:! ...and congratulations on your new tablet! :bounce:

Program capabilities learned:

- program has layers
- program has different brushes
- some sort of small toggle between "blending" and "bristle size"... don't know what it does, but changed it sometimes
- program has eraser

Ehehe, there's a little MANUAL, where you can check all the shortcuts, too! ;)

Some of the shortcuts are very helpful.... Have read the manual but still end up mostly figuring it out iteratively.

Thank you... also trying to refer to manual when questions arise.

I am having a hard time finding in the manual: How do you disengage "selected area"? (Lasso tool)

I think, you just had to hit [k] again. It might have gone through 3 stages, don't remember right now. Tomorrow I'll look again.
But it was never a finished feature. Just a test of mine.
